About KawanFounded in 2021, Kawan is a student-run, student-led organization at UCLA formed to celebrate the Pilipino Catholic culture. While we are a Pilipino Catholic & UCC entity, we are open to everyone.
Kawan welcomes all undergraduates, graduates, alumni, and friends of all backgrounds into the community. As a part of the University Catholic Center (UCC), Kawan fosters a familial and uplifting space for its members while they explore the Christian faith and teachings of Jesus Christ through the Pilipino lens. Most importantly, we aim to maintain a space for Pilipino Catholics to congregate and be in fellowship! |
We welcome you to Kawan!
